FRANCHE’S FIRST SPELLING BEE!
On Thursday, 24th May, pupils took part in Franche’s first ever Spelling bee day. There were fun games, activities and challenges all designed to raise the importance of accurate spelling in our writing.
Children have also helped to record and choreograph a spelling video with some mnemonic strategies to help remember some tricky words. Watch the video here:
THE ROYAL WEDDING AT FRANCHE PRIMARY!

World Book Day 2018: Thursday 1st March
Once again, teachers and pupils celebrated World Book Day in style, dressing up as their favourite book character and sharing many stories throughout the day.

Franche Primary have once again made the National News!
Year 4’s brilliant pen pal project writing to the elderly residents of High Habberley House and Hollyfields featured for the second time on BBC Breakfast and on Radio 4’s PM show in the Christmas holidays on 30th December. We are super proud of all of our Year 4 pupils for spreading some Christmas cheer with their beautiful singing and recorder playing!
